Common goals for the development of Prešov

On Thursday we had the honour to welcome the representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Slovakia, as well as the representatives of the city of Prešov and the Prešov Self-Governing Region. During this important meeting we introduced them to the management team of DEJONG Slovakia as well as our ambitious plans for the construction of a new plant in Prešov.

The discussion focused on opportunities for mutual cooperation and support for the development of the region, with all parties expressing a keen interest in building strong partnerships. We believe that together we can bring new opportunities, sustainable solutions and quality jobs to Eastern Slovakia that will have a positive impact on the local community.

Interest in cooperation and development of the region

We feel strong support from the local authorities and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which gives us the courage and energy to continue our efforts to create a reference project not only for DEJONG Slovakia, but also for the entire Prešov region.

This project is a fulfilled dream of many of us, including the Plant Manager of DEJONG Slovakia, who since his arrival in the region has felt a deep connection with Eastern Slovakia and the people who live here. It’s not just about building a factory, but also about a long-term vision to create a space for innovation, sustainability and quality that will benefit the region.

Together, we look forward to the next steps and what we can achieve in Prešov.
